Guests from all over the world come to the Bella Coola Valley to view grizzly bears feeding on the salmon runs returning to spawn in the Atnarko River. The public bear viewing platform in Tweedsmuir Park is a 20 minute drive east along Highway #20 from Nusatsum Guest House. Here you can safely view and photograph the bears in the BC Parks designated viewing area.
We highly recommend Kynoch Adventures in Hagensborg for a river drift to view Bears. From time to time Bears wander through our own yard at the Guest House, and it is always a treat to see them.
